Youth Workgroup #3

The third Youth Workgroup meeting was held at City Park in Park City on July 20, 2017. Our meeting was held alongside a Mountain Town Music concert. During our meeting, we discussed our definition of Arts and Culture and explored the idea that Arts and Culture are intrinsically tied to many aspects of life in Summit County. At the conclusion of our meeting the Youth Workgroup Members visited with patrons of the concert and spread the word about ProjectABC.

Mary Beth also ran an exercise about the Creator's Hierarchy of Needs, a spin off of Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. Additionally, we discussed the current strengths of Arts and Culture in Summit County, ideas for additional efforts, and identification of what we would need to accomplish these ideas. We closed out by iterated the public survey to be launched in mid-summer.

The primary goal of this meeting was to explore existing Arts and Culture funding opportunities, and work to understand the nuances of each.
